When I saw the reveal for Mega Victreebel (absolutely in love btw), I was reminded of a concept I had many years ago for a regional variant line for the Bell gang. The visuals are inspired partly by holly berries and christmas themes, but more directly by a species of pitcher plant (Nepenthes villosa) that grows at extreme elevation in Borneo. It can get cold enough to frost in those areas, so I combined the toothy maw of the real-world plant with an icy crown motif.
All three are ice+poison types, not necessarily the greatest but it fits thematically.
This is my first time trying the Pokemon style, so I'm pretty proud of it! I may go back and re-draw Boreabel, it was my first one and the lines are too thick methinks.
