Made an American Southwest regional variant of Meowth and Persian, what do you think?

Since I live in the hottest state, I thought it would be appropriate for them to be fire/ground type. Meowth is based on a bobcat, and Persian is based on a mountain lion.

Would love y'all's thoughts!
