As Promised: What If Nidorina evolved with a Dragonscale instead of a Moonstone. Nidorina becomes a strong poison Wyvern Pokemon called Nidovern. With its strong wings and legs it call pull a Mamoswine in the air with no problems Its jaw bites through Shellders with ease.

    As a result of absorbing an incredible amount of draconic energy, Nidorvern’s body underwent a strange mutation, making it sprout wings and sending its poison sac into overdrive. It flies across the land, pumping prey full of toxins to the point of bursting, before crunching them in half with its powerful jaws.

    I’d pay money for this to be put in a Pokémon game. Rathian is one of my favorite monsters in Monster Hunter, and I’ve always liked the Nido line. Perfect execution on the design points here.

    Nidoking: male

    Nidoqueen: female

    Nidovern: dragon

    I think it would be interesting if one gender was a Ground/Dragon while the other was a Poison/Dragon. It’s show off the sexual dimorphism even more.
