My son was invited to his friend's birthday party tonight and wanted to pick him up some pokemon cards. I get a call from my wife at Walmart and she tells me there's a Twilight Masquerade ETB but she doesn't want to spend $60 on the box. I'm shocked that this ETB was sitting on the shelf. Of course, it was the only one because I was going to tell her to buy all of them. I tell her to buy it and we can split the packs up.
Two fold story. I ask my wife to weigh the packs when they split them just to see if there's any discrepancies. There's 6 that weight 22g and 3 that weigh 23g. I tell them the theory that heavier packs have hit cards in them. I was only interested for science. My son decided to give all of the heavier ones to his friend plus 2 lighter ones. All 3 heavy ones had a full art card. This is legit now. Not only that, but his friend smashes the holy grail of Twilight Masquerade…. The three boys present were going NUTS. It was pretty cool to see….Happy Birthday!
