So basically it's right now a convergent/regional mareanie thats poison/fairy thats based on carnivorous plants. It has a different evolution from toxapex, with its belly being carnivorous obviously but it was overdesigned earlier so I tried to pokemonify it. Their hair is obviously a flower and it lures in prey and snaps shut.
Obviously this is all very rough but I'm having trouble before finalizing some art, to decide to change it to a simple regional evolution for gloom or vileplume, (and tweak the design to match that), or make it a regional mawile with the hair and tweak it and give mawile a new evo as well. (One of my favorite mons) since I want the mon to be perfect and I feel like it might be a little hard to connect the dots on why this mon might exist. I'm kinda liking the mawile idea (it'll still be a flower) but I saw some similar art online and don't want it to be similar. Should I try both? Lmk sorry for the long message
I'll resend it when I decide and finalize something (with colors too obviously and way neater)
