I’ve bought a few booster bundles in the past and, while not all of them had terrible pulls, I never pulled anything that made the BB worth purchasing.
I ended up winning a free Destined Rivals BB in a giveaway and, when it came in the mail, I ripped the packs later that night with my older brother. The first two packs were duds. The third pack? Team Rocket’s Nidoking ex SIR. My very first english DR SIR (I’ve pulled Team Rocket’s Moltres SAR from Glory of Team Rocket in the past) and an awesome looking card to boot. The last three packs had Dondozo ex, Flapple IR and Ethan’s Ho-Oh in that order.
Destined Rivals is one of my favorite sets from the S&V era. To say I’m happy about pulling one of the top hits from a free BB is a huge understatement.
