Field Research cannot be claimed



I have a field research task I got and completed on Saturday. The task was "Win a battle in the GBL".
I am unable to claim it. Clicking it makes it disappear for a few seconds and then it reappears. Other tasks can still be claimed with no issues.
Has anyone encountered this issue before and have a solution?

I have tried to refresh game data, restarted game and even fulled up my Pokémon storage and attempted to claim it hoping it would go straight to my stack. Next idea is to reinstall the app but waiting to see if there are other suggestions before I resort to that.

Phone is Samsung Galaxy A33.

    you’re probably going to have to clear our your entire stack, that usually is what fixes this problem

    Happened to me a couple weeks ago, had to clear all stacked research.

    There’s a maximum to the number of mons you can stack from research tasks. Catch a couple and you should be able to catch this one.

    Are those other rewards you claimed also for pokemon, or for other rewards? Your stack can only hold 100 pokemon perhaps catching a few from your stack could help you here.
