The frustrating inconsistency of this game.

On one hand, we have throwing tasks where they are clever enough to count great and excellent throws towards a task which requires nice throws.

Then we have this task. I use my free daily pass for only 5* and 5* shadows only, yet here I am 1 month after getting this task.

Another example is tasks where you need to "defeat x team rocket members". Why aren't the rocket leaders counted? Are they independent contractors of Team Rocket hence they don't count?
