This is based on aesthetic and vibes of each pokemon. It doesn’t have to be competitively sound. Although with some more gimicky Pokemon I might lean into it a little.
Each middle form evolution should be halfway there to what its final evolutions perfect moveset would be
Now me reasoning:
Ivysaur keeps poison powder and solar beam for reasons mentioned last post
Bullet seed replaces vine whip for a slightly more powerful physical STAB move
And as proved somewhat in Pokemon journeys, Ivysaur evolve into venasaur by basking in the sunlight. So rest or sunny day is interchangeable. But I chose rest.
