So I’ve found some old cards in a cupboard, all holos have gone on eBay, charizard etc etc
Got these regular base set Pikachu’s and wondering if anyone has an explanation..
So I’ve got 6 in total, however 1 is much more faded print than the other 5…Wondering if there’s been anything documented about faded Pikachu’s etc or if it’s just a normal thing as I’ve never seen it before!

was it at the front and could it be that at some point in this cards life it has seen the sun multiple hours a day?

If you see the bottom of the faded one it reads GAMEFREAK 1999-2000.
Vs The other ones that just reads GAMEFREAK 1999
They’re different printings. Base set is known for different colors, shades and hue changes because they were still testing out printing palettes in between print releases.
