Did not receive 12k egg from Leader

I took down a Team Leader to get my last 12km for a 12 12k hatch but I didn’t receive the egg

At the time I did have the daily egg but that’s my only thought as to why I didn’t receive the egg unless something changed that I didn’t know about from the latest update
