I was watching a postgame playthrough by Mixeli for Legends Z-A and something about this dialogue from Lysandre caught my eye. He says "The moves that Zygarde used when it mega evolved- they reminded me of Z-Moves like those used in Alola region".
Considering that Hoopa has the ability to create portals and that the description for the DLC on the pokemon website says "distortions in space have appeared". We can connect this to the wormholes from Sun & Moon from which Ultra Beasts come out

I’ll say this and nothing else – there were massive leaks recently so we already know the new few upcoming pokemon games. If you want to keep them a surprise I suggest avoiding these kinds of speculative discussions, because it’s not speculation anymore.
According to the description, the distortions lead into “Hyperspace Lumiose”, not a different region.
But idk maybe there’s more to explore. One can hope
Could be, could also just be a reference. Since this is the second Legends game, they might also be directly hinting at where they’re thinking the next one will be. Ultra Beasts, especially new ones, could easily make for a great Legends style story. Imagine if there’s just a ton more Ultra Beasts and your main goal is cataloging all of them instead of just building a regular Pokédex. I could even see them trying to make Alola fully open world with the Mantine surf from US/UM being turned into a ride Pokémon for ocean exploration and inter-island travel.
