I just recently got back into collecting cards, I have opened 24 booster packs so far over the past two weeks and had a few decent hits here and there but nothing crazy. The most fun I've had is filling a binder up with cards again. I'm honestly surprised at how quickly I'm filling the Mega Evolution complete set. (I'm not rich so obviously I will not be mastering this set lol)
Anyways, I saved four booster packs that I bought at a Cumberland Farms near where I live. I wasn't going to buy any but I have had trouble finding booster packs that aren't crazy expensive and these were $2 cheaper than where I normally buy them from. I figured why the hell not?
I opened two packs when I got home but something came up and I ended up having a terrible rest of my day. I got quite a few cards that I didn't have in my binder before so there was that. I have been feeling down lately, wasn't going to open the last four booster packs because if I'm honest I'm a little depressed at how much money I have spent in the last two weeks on cards when I promised myself I wouldn't do this lol
I pulled the Venusaur ex in the first pack and the Bulbasaur in the second. I was ecstatic to get two hits in a row but I didn't realize I had just pulled the fifth most expensive card in the whole set until afterwards when I was looking up the market prices LMAO 🤣
I'm ngl I'm still really bummed out but at least I know my luck hasn't completely ran out! 😅
There is a card show coming up in my town on November 15th and I'm trying to get some cool cards into my collection before then. I've accumulated quite a few duplicate holos/reverse holos so hopefully I can trade those for the few cards that I am having trouble pulling to complete the set!
