I had an awesome Metagross raid day. I got 15/15/14 ✨ shiny and a 5th Hundo. They should have made it have Meteor Mash too. Down side is there’s no avoiding using an Elite TM.
2 shield metagross in the back is absolutely broken in this meta.. especially if you best buddy it to win cmp against the other metagross

I caught a hundo with shadow claw during the mega raid day, should I power up to 50 (I have one level 50 already with BP) or save the XL candies for a good IV shadow shiny metagross?

I am 60 XL candy and 2 dark/steel type raids away from finishing my Kingambit build. I really wish I had it for this cup as it seems like a good core breaker. For some reason PvPoke has its recommended fast move as snarl giving it a 1-1 shield win rate of 12-22. Changing it to metal sound brings it up to 16-18 and crucially beating Florges, Togekiss, and Primarina. It wins the 0-0 and 2-2 against metagross, and only loses the 1’s if you shield a meteor mash. It loses to gyarados but it is very close

I made my Shadow Claw Metagross with Meteor Mash + Psychic. With Shadow Claw, I just don't really need Earthquake anymore in the mirror, and Gyarados no longer hard counters Metagross when you can throw Shadow Claw + Psychic.
Double shielding gholdengo was a pretty strong signal that you had focus blast

Bullet Punch has so much fast move pressure that a resisted STAB Bullet Punch does the same damage as a neutral non-STAB Shadow Claw
