Yes, it’s 450, I made a mistake, can’t edit the title. Point stands – there are “friends” in your niantic profile that aren’t in PoGo and they prevent you from adding more friends

Is there a way to see how long it’s been since someone logged in beyond it saying 2+ days? (Don’t want to delete a friend whose on a cruise for a week, but also don’t want too save people who’ve been inactive for 6 months or more either…)

I’ve heard of this. Is there a way to identify the friends in Campfire but not in Pogo.. I’m at roughly 11 now

The friend limit is 450, not 500. OP has mentioned they can’t edit the title.
A ‘Ghost’ happens when someone’s account is permanently banned, the friend is removed from your friend list in a way that still counts the spot as being active. This effectively prevents you from using that spot in future. It is unknown if there’s a fix to this, but because it’s a fairly low priority it can probably be fixed by Niantic just giving us more friend space in a future update (Actually making it 500 would be nice) as it’s unlikely you’ll have more than a handful of permabanned users on your friends list unless you are hanging with a really rough crowd.
You can also be capped on sending out friend requests if you have too many pending going out (Though unsure if this has been removed) OR the other user has too many pending going in.
