The level 80 update is finally here in Pokemon Go as we are now able to go beyond level 50. With that, we start our grind to level 71 by completing some tasks like 999 nice throws in a day too. All the best to everyone for the grind, have fun.

annoying having to grind to 71 just so the 7 day count of doing routes could start for people like me that started at 70 we did have lots of items to waste doing it though..
When you level up it asks you if you want to claim now but just like the end of season pvp rewards it auto claims them anyways its so stupid it would have been nice to claim the items when you needed them had to delete so many.
for leveling to 71 lure a bunch of poke stops and use incense plus spacial rend move around between the pokestops the best way to grind the 999 nice throws its gives you extra range and lets you have more attempts at catching the pokemon because it not increase the catch rate like freeze shock does

Is it intentional that trainers who have already hit level 40 before don't get the elite fast tm? I have this issue
I jumped from level 40 to level 57. I never thought it would happen. I thought I'd be somewhere between 43-45, and I need 700 more items in my bag space to start spending on Pokéstops. My happiness is out of the roof, man, this is awesome, and they want me to play more.
In my area will take a couple of days to get the nice throw. I had only about 150 pokemon today.
First level was fairly easy, It took me slightly under 3 hours to hit the nice throws
How the hell do i have more platinum medals than you….mind blown…
Scopely/Niantic/PokemonGo did such a horrific job communicating this update to players around the world. it was announced that it would update on oct 15th. There was not once a specific time given for the update, and only a day before the update were we told it would update during PDT time zone, but still not given a specific time in PDT. this was an absolute joke, and for half the players around the world, the update didn't actually happen until oct 16th. This should have been officially announced in advance the exact time of the update rollout so people could plan accordingly. I hope players are angry about this, and as a community we demand that scopely changes how they communicate to us about these types of events in the future.

Above billion xp shouldn’t have to redo I know I’m. 68 years I don’t know if I could do the grind again I finished. Lvl 50 in 2021 to. But I guess it doesn’t matter good luck on your grind I pushed hard. For xp they could of told us. We didn’t need it
Very curious as to how long it takes for someone to get to level 80, I’m thinking the 900km will take minimum 90 days, so around 4 months i think
The item bag storage might be a problem because if u are unable to clear your space, I don’t think you can get gifts any more because you can’t spin pokestops.also for the mega requaza day, u are able to get 5 free passes by spinning from gyms so if u can’t clear ur item bag ur cooked
The new tasks are great to have. Also the Master Ball was unexpected 😁 This is going to be a nice grind 💪
