My wife and I are trying to get the welcome party tasks done – this was our 3rd task yesterday and wasn't completable for some reason. We knew we had walked well over 2km when we noticed the task wasn't updating, as we were hatching new 2km eggs and completed multiple 2km field research. After we noticed it wasn't working, we did a 1.5km route. We completed the route and it still never updated. We both tried force quitting the game and relaunching/joining the party but it never ended up working.
