My old folder from the late 90's was barely hanging on. Decided to buy a new one. Anything past 2005 are things just bought randomly when seen in store.
Great memories playing as a kid, the local card shop running official tournaments, and I've still got the pokemon dci stamp book where you won matches and get given pokemon gym pin badges.
We used to buy the Japanese packs from the shop as they would always come out much earlier than the English prints, and had to use wizard magazine for the translations. Bought lots of the vending machine sheets and still have a complete savrinas gym deck!
Was wondering why I had a bunch of 1st edition fossil cards, and remembered that they were giving out packs as prizes at the UK invitational in London, 1st prize was a trip to the world championship in hawaii. Only made it to the 2nd round though.
Have boxes of bulk and a complete common/uncommon base set in English and Japanese.
Good times were had resorting through it all!
