My tip. I make the Pokémon caught number their nickname. No change in a week? You’re gone
It shows 0 in my stats while in raid lobby aswell. I haven’t seen anyone else with 0 in their stats.

You can check if somebody plays.There is a trick – use nickname to store their number of exp ( and perhaps level), if number does NOT change next time – the player doesn't play – almost anything you do gives you exp.
It would be more important to get date of last interaction on friend screen or as search filter. We have "giftable" filter "!giftable" to easy filter player to gift presents or these who have already sent.

They really need to increase the friend list to 1000. For those that played the game for a very long time we already had hundreds of friends. Then when you start hosting remote raids, you start getting international friends, which is really cool. Unfortunately, I have to delete a lot of of them because if I’m over my 450 friend cap, I can’t host remote raids.
But this feature will be really nice to have. One other thing they need to fix with the friends list is if you scroll way down and you remove a friend, the app resets you back at the top of the list! It is beyond irritating and makes managing the friends list a very time-consuming process!
I wish they would make it an option to skip / fast fwd the evolution animation. So much wasted time when doing multiple evolutions

Why ppl add and then not give and receive gifts? Just throw away pokeballs/great balls and potions. Just have like 15 of max revives and max potions. For regular raids. Cuz for raid days they give u a shiiii ton of healing items. Think smarter not harder

In this case a combination of sick and plans came up and i know i have one day of the week booked up that could just make it difficult even if the rest the week goes perfectly so that is my least favorite part of the new lvl up challenges for sure

Poke AkK rants about cheating then achieves 200kms in 3 days is 67km per day for a 12 hours walking per day n in 3 days. Even driving a car at a speedwalker pace would still take about 7 hours of driving per day for 3 days. 🙄
Tip. Rename every new friend with the date, so you can track or the sent/open gifts.

When it comes to friends. During big events like the past XP event I use a sheet to track who interacts with me. If by the end you haven't I delete them. Point I had 380 friends at the end 175.
Normally I do the week leading to GoFest too. It's a great way to see what accounts are inactive or at least not interactive enough for the space.
I nickname by using the month number then a space and then the number of Pokemon caught. A few months later I’ll check them and if the amount of Pokemon caught hasn’t changed, I know they don’t play anymore. If I know someone is taking a break and will be back, I don’t delete them.

How the friend list thing still can't do better than "2+ days ago" and doesn't at LEAST go up to "7+ days ago" more than 9 years after this game's release is beyond me.
I started nicknaming my friends their last catch and the date I nicknamed them if I see their last catch was 2+ days ago.. So let's say I just noticed today that one of my friends caught a Nicket "2+ days ago", I nickname them "Nicket 25-10" and then wait 2 weeks. If their last caught is still a Nicket, out they go.
The level update is also a huge help. Plenty of friends who were still stuck at their old level despite having more than enough exp to level up, meaning they haven't logged on since the update. Out they go!

PRO Tip: If you have extra Eternatus candies use the adventure affect before powering the max move to instantly get it to Level 2 and count as powering a max move. Unlocking a move to level 1 does not count as leveling a max move.
