Haniboo and Charmeikon

Haniboo – Ghost type
Inspired by haniwa, ectoplasm, malleable clay

Haniboo appear in excavation sites and ruins overnight, though no one has ever seen it arrive. Its soft dough-like body is cool to the touch, and a faint heartbeat can be heard when listened to closely.

Evolves with Friendship into;

Charmeikon – Ghost/Fairy type
Inspired by keychains, protective charms, imprinting

Legends say Charmeikon was once a guardian charm, guiding families through generations. It evolves when loved and cherished, the form it takes is said to mirror the heart of its owner.

I made these to fill out my ghost type gym leader team.
I think the different styles would just be visual, except maybe a specific move that’s type changes based on style.
