I have a bit of a bone to pick with gen 9 gimmick of so called "convergent species" or how they are officially called "Ecologically similar Pokémon". My issue is, they missed on what convergence in evolution and ecological niches really is. Convergent evolution is a process where two unrelated species develop similar features, when adapting to similar environments or ecological niches. Issue is what Gamefreak designed are Pokemon from different ecological niches that arbitrarily look similar just because. Toedscool's and Tentacool have very different ecological niches, one drifts in the sea, other is a spry land dweller. In fact they already made more believable portrayal of convergent evolution with Electrode and Foongus being unrelated pokemon that share a niche of "pokeball mimic".
So my idea was to make a convergent to Skiddo/Gogoat Pokemon, that have the "drivable mount with references to bikes" niche, but are unrelated. So I went with pigs, or as some bikers refer to their motorcycles "Hogs".
