- I use a 2300+ 4 D-ring binder with 4×4 slots per page. I went with a ringed binder to easily add new Pokémon that may come in the future.
- I do it in national dex order.
- I keep evolution families together.
- I treat Paradox Pokémon as part of the evolution family.
- Regional variants, megas, and gmax Pokémon are included as well.
- For any cards I don't have yet or cards I know will exist in the future, I created placeholder cards and put them into the slots I want them in.
- I don't allow families to be split by a page so there are blank spaces that I built in to the binder. These spaces are filled in with the backs of bulk energy and trainer cards.
- I leave a blank slots not filled in with anything between generations.
- I added tabs to easily navigate to the differe t generations.
- I keep track of all the cards/Pokémon I have acquired using a spreadsheet I created in Google Sheets.
- In the future, If applicable, I would like to prioritize full art and full illustration cards over standard format cards.
- Also, I included fossil trainer cards that evolve into fossil Pokémon and Rotom trainer cards because I'm weird like that lol
I have 186 cards left to complete my binder. I started this project about a month ago and had a good head start by including the cards I had from my childhood. It's been a great time! Enjoy a few pictures from my project…
