I stopped playing 4 years ago when I gave my Nintendo Switch to my brother after I bought another one. I transferred the console data, but I completely forgot that the Pokémon games didn't transfer I also didn't think about that at the time because the games were always saved on the cartridge .
I also forgot that I had them inside Pokémon Sword.
He sold his Switch 3 months later, and when I returned after a month abroad to get vaccinated against COVID, I looked for my Pokémon in Pokémon HOME and realized I was missing a lot!
When I opened the game, I realized there wasn't a saved game. It especially hurt to lose my Primarina and my Mewtwo from my Leaf Green game from when I was a little kid. It's only been a few weeks since I've been able to think about it without feeling pain. I'm ready to go back!
