Komulip – Grass
The Hatchling Pokemon
Quake: “Komulip are vibrant Pokemon, blossoming exotic flowers on the bushes during spring. These flowers attract a lot of bug-type Pokemon, giving Komulip easy prey.”
Gale: “Despite their small frame, these Pokemon are quite the offensive beast. Their claws have the same venom a lot of poisonous plants have.”
Varimba – Grass
The Brush Pokemon
Quake: “They reside in forests near urban settlements, and are an optimal protector for children. Their intimidating frame helps ward off harm from young kids, and they’re considered gentle giants that are great care-givers.”
Gale: “According to folktales, Varimba’s tail bulbs are a sign of changing weather. When they are green and plump, then rainfall will bless the region, but when they shrivel, harsh sunlight will come.”
Agnavar – Grass/Fire
The Brush Pokemon
Quake: “The raging fire on their back can never be put out, even when doused with water. Eons ago, it was said these Pokemon were the cause of the great forest fires that haunted the region.”
Gale: “Even in intense rainfall, Agnavar will go out of their way to protect their young and hunt for food. Thankfully, the fire on their back is hot enough to instantly evaporate water that hits it.”
Based on Komodo Dragons and Indonesia's violent forest fire history. I am a huge fan of how I designed these guys, especially with 0 clue on how to draw reptiles or fire lol
