They mentioned there would be some additional free item storage when they readjusted the item benefits for leveling up, didn’t they?
I’ll never disparage free stuff, but maybe 200 Pokemon storage would be nicer? Since we just got a 400 item boost?

I was at the maximum of 9750 when we got the recent bonus 400 space (L71) to 10150. I hope this 200 includes the raising of the maximum storage again. I’ll find out in the morning I expect.

I thought i didn’t get it but i was looking in wrong spot in store, i thought it was near top where all limited time deals are.
Had to scroll down to bottom where bag and pokemon storage upgrades are and it was there for me

Niantic is too nice recently. What’s going on?… it’s not their style…

Niantic should’ve done this years ago. With a free to play game, your players won’t spend money if they can’t even play the game. You want to make it as friendly to the casuals as possible.
It was always ridiculous to me how tightly they monetized the inventory expansion system. This 600 bag spaces they’ve recently handed out is “worth” $24 except it isn’t because the vast majority of casuals won’t ever pay it and they have 9 years of behavioral data to prove it. I bet Scopely correctly sees that a better monetization plan is to give lots of Premium pay options for events instead of nickel & diming for storage.
For most people if they can’t spin a stop, they’re not doing rigorous inventory management, they’re just closing the app. Make players pay for extra fun not to eat their veggies.

Ugh, could have used all this extra space two weeks ago before I had to delete/waste a ton of items after the releveling. Better than not having it, though, so I still appreciate the gesture.
