I ordered a PSA 9 Ethan’s Ho-Oh on eBay. The seller didn’t have many reviews, but the photos looked like the card was legit. There weren’t any signs of the card or slab being fake. Plus, the listing said returns accepted and i knew PayPal would have my back if things weren’t as expected. They always have in the past.
Anyways, the card was ordered on 10/31. I didn’t hear anything from the seller. On the 2nd i sent messages since it never left paid status. On the 4th, i messaged again, since it never left “paid” status and haven’t gotten tracking info yet. Right after i messaged the seller again on the 4th, i got a notification that the package was delivered. I checked, the porch, and the mailbox. Nothing. So i gave it another day. Still nothing. I checked eBay and it was apparently shipped on the day i ordered it, with FedEx. I checked the FedEx site and there was a picture of the delivery, and it was NOT my house. It says it was delivered to my county, but doesn’t give the address.
So i file with eBay. They surprisingly side with the seller same day. They said that because it shows delivered, i dont get a refund. So i file with PayPal. They got info from eBay and decided the same. So im repealing it.
I tried filing with FedEx for the situation too. They ask for my tracking number, which i give them and it’s confirmed to be correct. They ask for the house number that it was supposed to be delivered to, and they say it doesn’t match the address that’s on the tracking number.
What can i give them to help my case? I gave them pictures from the FedEx delivery, and a picture of my porch, and the house number included. Am I SOL?
