Let’s say there was another Red/Blue/Green remake with the goal to be the “Ultimate Pokémon Experience” in terms of immersion and worldbuilding? It would be one last retelling of the Red and Blue story with the worldbuilding and storytelling approach of the modern pokémon games. It would recreate Kanto in a fully 3D world with focus on exploring nature and traveling like the first season of the anime. It would use the Z-A battle system as I feel like it’s a better representation of what pokémon battles were supposed to be. The dex would be expanded to regional forms, new evos, and a decent selection of Johto and Hoenn pokémon available in the safari zone.
In terms of story and lore I think it would follow the same story beats of the original games, but with extra details and more “pokémon” stories, like making the legendary pokémon more involved, hinting at the wider world like Lysandre labs funding the mewtwo project or global headlines of Galar having a new champion in Leon.
