Had such a case as well. clicked on it before 18.00, left it in the catch screen but caught it after it turned18.00 –>No XXL no more and went down to 58CP with random IVs. Thankfully just a useless one.
It’s not a bug. You can’t catch a wild mon greater than lvl 35 after the event ends, so it reverted to being a regular mon. This is the same scenario as last year.
Is this a mighty encounter tapped on during the event and caught after 6 or is this a caught before 6 and after 6 changed because if I lose my shundo Hatterene I may cry

same here, caught a shiny mighty hatterene…tapped on it before event end, yet, midway through catching it, event eneded and it’s just shiny now…at least thankful for that hah-
I clicked on a Rapidash before 6 p.m. and caught it a few seconds after 6 p.m., and it had extremely poor stats…
I sent a couple of my mighty pokemon from the field research to my stack. But when I click on the pokemon from my stack, it’s pokemon that I have saved from two weeks ago. How do I get the pokemon that I added to the stack just today?
Same happened to me. Caught an absol at exactly 6pm and it lost its mighty status
Had the same thing. Clicked on Absol at 1759. Caught in first throw Ultra/GoldRasp but the catch was officially at 18:00. Still ended up being a 3 star but was no longer a mighty CP

I did find out that the research mighties stay mighty and can be caught after the event, which makes it very easy to catch them.
Same as last year I see.
