SILKWRAITH – the misunderstood pokemon

Silkwraith are shy and timid pokemon who prefer to reside in dim areas away from other pokemon or humans. It is often said that Silkwraith are malicious because of their terrifying ancestors but that is far from the case. They can make thin silky threads from their palms wich they like to make silk clothes from or repair broken toys and ripped clothing and make uniquely designed cobwebs.

Signature Ability: Gentle Grasp
When Silkwraith enters battle, it creates Softbind, a protective silk zone that reduces all contact damage taken by your team by 30% for 5 turns.
Additionally, Silkwraith’s own contact moves never trigger enemy abilities like Rough Skin, Static, Flame Body, etc.
Hidden Ability: Webwake-
When hit by ghost, dark or bug type moves Silkwraith becomes awakened from the next 3 turns
-20% damage on all moves
-immunity to flinching
[Being struck by fear or predatory based energy activates it's ancient instincts]
I got this idea from rolling a bunch of wheels. Getting bug ghost type with a misunderstood and shy personality traits and bland design.
