A good friend of mine and I were working on a setting for a Pokemon themed TTRPG and wanted a battle gimmick coming with said setting. Looking at the battlebond phenomenon seen in Ashs Greninja we came up with the Exa-Synchronicity or V-Drive (Short for victory drive) in which trainer and ace Pokemon synchronize and unlock a new form through their shared bond. In this case this is the former World champion's partner Lucario.
