How is Xatu a rare card now? I also have some others that are now rare but the older versions were uncommon? Just bought 2 packs and this card was in there. There's also a zebstrika that's uncommon, that one's a little more believable but id still consider it a common card. Kinda just got back into collecting about a year ago so all my cards are from the older generations. The EX cards looks like fakes too me and the new rarities just make no sense. Did something change?

The Paradox one was always a rare. This is from a Prize Pack, is that what you bought?
Rarities change, a pokémon isnt condemned to the rarity of it’s first appearence forever but yes, the rarities are a bit weird since SV, you have box legendaries as uncommons, other legendaries as commons, evolved pokémons that used to be rares as common. It’s a lot more like Japan now, where this kind of stuff isnt that much of an anomaly.
