This was once a Dewpider born with a particularly weak silk organ, making it unable to properly form its bubble helmet. This forced it to remain underwater for most of its life.
As it delved deeper underwater, it fell under similar effects to deep sea gigantism, and eventually evolved into a truly GOLIATH Araquanid.
However, it still can’t fully function on land, especially with those lanky licorice legs. So it has a very small colony of Dewpider with it at all times, helping it hunt and creating stabilizing bubbles on its legs to help it stay upright. Its front legs/ arms have also become almost completely useless, but at least they’re a comfy resting place for its colony!
Its signature move is Barobubble, a special Water type move that does 70 damage and hits 2-4 times.
