I've been casually doing Battle League since last fall, mostly to tank for Rare Candies and Stardust.
I'd use semi-meta teams for easier wins and hover around 1,150 to 1,200 rating. In the last week of the season I'd see how high I could go in rating or see how high of a win streak I could get and I'd generally make it to around 1,800 rating without that much stress, so I figured I'd make a push to Ace this time around.
I did get to a 31 win streak in a previous season which I was proud of 🤣
My previous set I finished at 1,997 rating and thought I'd suddenly go on a cold streak but luckily won 4 of 5 and jumped to 2,041.
Overall it wasn't terribly hard, I never lost more than 2 battles in a set climbing up from 1,200. But I don't think I'll bother doing it again since the difference of rewards of Rank 20 to Ace is a little bit of Stardust, the juice really isn't worth the squeeze.
But it was fun getting a little bit of a challenge in, back to tanking next week.
