I just got invited to a remote raid and we got smoked. I’m not sure if I was the only one trying to heal or not.
I also had a level 2 shield up that Lugia blasted right through with no mitigation. This one is going to be rough.

The only raid I did (remotely) I actually got a good team and we beat it pretty easily

The issue with Max Battles is it is a 4-max party with 12 health bars that you cannot replace. It leaves a lot of room for things to go wrong. There are cases where suboptimal team can still work out but you need to know how to proceed, when to mix in some heal/defend, but since a lot of players are casual, they may not know much. And this makes thing very tough in a lot of ways when it comes to 4/5 star Max Battles.
It almost feels it is a mini competitive aspect that got put into the game which don’t bold well with a wild range of trainers who play the game for a wild range of reasons.
It is a more competitive raid pretty much which is good because otherwise it would feel the same as regular raids, but then they may want to make it slightly easy for the casual or allow a party of 5 for 4/5 Max Battles which gives a bit more room to work with because people don’t really mind carrying I feel at this point in time where so many more higher level trainers than in the past.

Is there 4 people limit in the dynamax raids? Every time I enter only 4 people join and time counts down.
From what i remember grimmsnarl had 20+ limit

I thought this would have improved after go tour max finale. Literally all good gmax mons were basically up for grabs 😒

Personally I still have no interest in dynamax legendaries. Like now Niantic is setting up events around them as if they are a new Pokemon. At least shadow Lugia had a cool shadow effect and could be purified for the hundo. Dynamax overall are kind of worthless if they aren’t the top attackers in their type.

I keep having people bail last second on the raid, almost like they don’t realize that 4 is the max amount of people that can join.

To the people bringing Zam and Zac to the fights: It’s really good that you brought the dogs. They’re great tanks and useful against Lugia, but it would be nice if you brought other pokemon, too. Like mons that can actually deal damage.

This event brought out the nasty in people. Kids play this game ya know so yea some are low level and just want to play. Limiting to teams of 4 only had middle aged men yelling about the kiddo trying to play the game.

Level 72 and I couldn’t get any to stay in the ball. Very high % of excellent throws. 4 remote raids down the drain.
