Extra-dimensional anomaly have a hardcoded rule when they first enter the field. They will unleash a roar so powerful that it will inflict damage on the opposing pokemon equal to 25% of its HP, unless the opposing pokemon has an Ability that ignores sound-based attacks.
Possessed :
Lamanshee can inflict a special status condition called Possessed. A possessed pokemon becomes unpredictable, uses its attacks randomly, can damage itself, and becomes a Ghost-type. Possessed status can be removed by switching the pokemon out of the field.
Ability: Lamanting Cry
Opposing pokemon are afflicted with a curse effect each time they enter the field. Furthermore, Lamanshee's attacks deal double damage to Ghost-type pokemon. (This ability cannot be removed or negated.)
