One of these days I'll stop trying with the dumb bosses. My argument is the raid should be the challange not the catch, which was the case for this raid it was down to the last pokemon, was tight and entertaining. Then this cuck is so stupid

It’s 2% with no berry and no curve and no excellent throw.
I haven’t missed a Lugia yet. Sometimes it took 7-8 balls.
I went out raiding DMax Lugia with three others, for 2-3 hours. Our combined average overall catch rate was 93% (7% fled). One of my friends caught a hundo with their last ball.
Lugias have always been among the toughest catches in the game. Always will be.
Is this a real issue? I don’t think I’ve missed out on a raid encounter in years.
Golden razz with excellent curveball throw is about 12% chance just FYI.
I haven’t done any Max Lugia (because I don’t think it really fills a need), but it’s funny how Max Lugia and Shadow Lugia a few weeks ago have both been such a nussiance.
What is it about Lugia in this game?
Wait seriously? I used a golden razz and curveball and completely underestimated how far away it was and hit a nothing throw, the ball shook once and it caught, first throw
This literally happened to me today
i feel like shadow lugia was easier to catch.
I missed 2 I got fully all excellent with golden razz for 15 throws
Missed a 2111 today, probably a 98 with attack and defense. My best dmax one today lost despite numerous excellent golden razzes (lost 2 balls to weird game mechanics/touch screen issues that resulted in curveball that curved the opposite way and completely went off screen 🤦♂️)
Yea, I had this during raid hour. Wouldn’t normally be bothered, but for the collection challenge, meaning I had to use a green pass to complete it
i’m 0/5 it pissed me off so much
Niantic hates players so I doubt they care. Making things frustrating is how they get people to spend money.
I didn’t know it was also hard to catch a dynamax. Granted I’ve only done two but both were first ball catches
I think everything about dynamax legendary raids is a scam
1. Only giving you 10 balls then making you pay 200 coins for 10 more
2. If you lose the battle you lose your remote raid pass and have to buy a new one
3. If you app crashes during the battle you can’t rejoin
4. Only allowing 4 people means if you are in a group not everyone can join, ie if you have 5 people then 1 is screwed
5. Aeroblast means you will likely lose the battle thus stealing your remote
6. Battles costing 800 particles and a 2 dollar remote pass.
Remote raids should be a guarantee not to flee. I agree the skill should be the raid not the catch!
This game is just gambling with extra steps
Lugia is the only legendary raid I’ve had 100% success with the last couple weeks. Hell, I even lost a shadow snorlax from a grunt
Imagine using a remote raid, max particle, and using 200 coins for double balls only for Lugia to flee🙃
Yeah, the increased raid catch chance that made it basically guaranteed during Go Fest made me play the game a LOT more than I normally would and I even spent some money to raid extra. I know they still got my money but I would honestly be spending money a lot more if I knew I wasn’t wasting cash on a Pokemon that was just going to run away. Sucks wasting a few bucks and ten minutes of your time like that. I basically don’t bother with raiding these days unless the Pokemon is S++ tier anyway.
Wait you can even defeat this ninja
did one raid, didn’t catch it and really debating on just not wasting my time on another
Genuinely. The RNG catch rate on literally any after-activity is so nightmarishly frustrating.
Had a shadow snorlax I was hyped to get, hit an excellent curveball on 5/6 throws with golden razz on each, broke out in 1 consistently. The hell am I doing wrong? Literally being punished by RNG for nothing.
My first one ran despite several excellent. My second one caught in first ball with a throw that didn’t even hit inside of the circle. Go figure.
