Mega Mismagius Y is based on the Manananggal, a primarily female creature from Filipino folklore which detaches its upper torso from its lower half. It’s pure Ghost.
Mega Sandaconda X is based on Gmax Sandaconda and dust devils, with the patterns on Sandaconda’s head becoming horns.
Mega Sandaconda Y is based on Rattlesnake Jake from Rango and the phrase “There’s a snake in my boot.” It’s pure Ground.
