I remember the first EX raid invitation I got, no one showed up😂. I think I invited my cousin to come with me, we couldn't take it down. I never went to another one.
It does seem suspicious how they uploaded that and then edited that part out. My guess it was a mistake and they forgot there is not shiny armored mewtwo lol

As much as my free to play side says mmmmm nah if we actually get armored Mewtwo for raids looks like this free to play player will be spending some money.

I did one armored mewtew raid. My game glitched and threw me across the screen and wouldn't let me back into the raid

I was only able to get 2 Armoured Mewtwo back in the day. The random X Raid invites were exactly that. Random af 😅 nothing like a X Raid event starting at noon during the work week
Elite raids were terrible. The invites were always in the afternoon on a weekday when there was no chance of you getting to it if you had a job. Very frustrating, I really hope that never comes back. I would rather something where you could all raid a gym and it can trigger something where that gym then has a different level of egg every few hours for a couple of days so people can all coordinate and have a chance to take part

They took away ex gyms because they didn't want people clustered together during early COVID. Then came remote raiding. I agree with you, they should bring them back. It could be a rare raid like Armoured M2 or clones. It was cool to get an actual invite come through for an EX raid.

Hopefully clones come back. I want a clone pikachu so bad. I thought they'd come back so I didn't make time to go out and raid and I never got it. Clone char would be chill too but I need the pikachu. Somehow I did do armored mewtwo like 5 or 6 times though.
I want ash hat pichu back. It was only available shiny for 24 hours in 2019. It's my white whale shiny.

If it were still under Niantic, I would say there's no way Armored Mewtwo is ever coming back, PERIOD. Under Scopely, who know's, it would sure be cool as a shiny. I'd prefer they keep the new one and make it have the original armor from the actual first movie.
Actually they would make more money with seperate event. On Go fest everyone have 5-6 free raid passes and for avarage Joe it is enough if he has it i pokedex and maybe take some 2-3 extra raids. Hard grinders will spend money on it anyway.
