My son turned 7 yesterday. Hes wanted a phantasmal flames big box(ETB) since the set released so I went to my local pokemon machine to see if I could get him one. Upon arrival there was 4 surging sparks packs and 2 journey together packs available and that was it. I got the 4 surging sparks packs and then checked again, and low and behold, there was his big box! I couldn't believe it . I got home with it and found out my wife had gotten me a single phantasmal flames pack from target earlier in the day when she got him a pack as well. I told him he was going to pull the gold charizard out of his box on his birthday, just like he wanted. He told me I was going to pull the ir charizard out of my pack. Well…… he pulled his gold charizard on like pack 3 and I'm honestly still just blown away from the experience! From me going into heb with intentions to find a ETB, actually finding it, then telling him he was going to pull the gold card, then him actually pulling it was simply magical! He's such a good kid with a big heart and to see him get his wish on his birthday like that still gives me chill bumps!
