A world composed of all the demons born from mortals.
In the depths of this perpetually changing world.
Within the world of dreams.
Lies a metaphysical cell.
This cell is locked by the cycle of dreams.
Its occupant is a bogeyman.
A creature appeared from the farthest reaches of the cosmos, in time immemorial.
The creator challenged it and then imprisoned it in the dream abyss.
He then raised two dream creatures as guardians.
One became Darkrai, the Lord of Nightmares.
The second became Cresselia, the protector of dreams.
The two formed a cycle of imprisonment to contain the creature.
But unfortunately, its influence is still too great.
It can therefore send fragments of its being into reality.
These fragments will seek out young children and Pokemon with a strong presence in the imaginary world.
It will infiltrate their dreams and nightmares.
Then it will devour their minds like parasites.
Hantasmare hopes to one day break the cycle of dreams by consuming the minds capable of imagining its prison.
It will then be able to invade the immaterial world.
The laws of the imagination will be shattered.
And only Hantasmare will remain to reign supreme over the collective imagination…
-Statistics :
-EDAs have a hard-coded rule when they first enter the field. They will unleash a roar so powerful that it will inflict damage on the opposing PokΓ©mon equal to 25% of its HP, unless the opponent has an Ability that ignores sound-based attacks.
-Deep Sleep.
Hantasmare can inflict a special status condition called "Deep Sleep." The opponent falls asleep, and the obligatory sleep duration is fixed at 5 turns. The opponent will take damage at the end of each sleep turn, and this damage will be converted into HP for Hantasmare.
-Type: Dark/Fairy.
-Ability: Nightmare Form.
If the opponent falls asleep, Hantasmare changes from its Cuddly Form to its Nightmare Form.
Its Signature Move also changes between forms. If the opponent wakes up, or is switched, Hantasmare reverts to its Cuddly Form.

The pokemon tears through the enemy's dream with their claws to infest their psyche.
Converts 50% of the damage dealt into HP for the caster, and increases the number of turns the enemy is required to sleep by 1.
