Concept:
Based on the trope of prehistoric creatures being preserved in tar pits, as well as the symbiote Venom and his race from the Marvel universe.
A creature that appears similar to Tyrunt, though not actually a dinosaur. It is in fact, what appears to be black sludge, a tar like blob in black and dark brown bands, wearing a fossil. it has ribs on the back, as well as teeth, bone claws and a bone spike at the tip of the tail. It drips at various points reinforcing the gooey nature. I chose to give it violet eyes just because.
Lore:
Tarunt is said to be one of the oldest Pokémon species, born from primordial tar that seeped up from the planets crust. Like Ditto, it was once formless, able to take on many shapes. It chose to form a bond those it first encountered in the tar pits and hasnt let go of them long after their passing.

Concept:
A convergent Tyrantrum based on based on the trope of prehistoric creatures being preserved in tar pits, as well as the symbiote Venom and his race from the Marvel universe. It's also an inversion of kids loving dinosaurs.
Looks similar to Tyrantrum at a glance, a large therapod. The real Pokmeon is actually an amorphous black tar like blob The top half of its head is a dinosaur skull, though not actually a tyrantrum just an unnamed Pokémon with two horns, the spikes coming from its shoulders are part of a tyrantrum fossil though,the crest on its back. its got fossil teeth in its lower jaw, bone claws, and bone spikes lining its spine and tail. Like the pre evolution violet eyes peer out form the skull helmets sockets, belonging to the goo not the skull. Also like the pre evolution it continues to drip form the jaws and tail.
Lore: When Tarunt evolves, it gathers more bones, layering ribcages and skull fragments into its tar body. Tarantrum is not a true dinosaur it is a mimic monarch, a primordial sludge that refuses to relinquish its first form. Unlike Ditto, which adapts endlessly, Tarantrum embodies permanence. It defends fossil sites fiercely, punishing greed and intrusion, though it will never harm children, who it studies with hesitant curiosity.
