Hallo, I already posted the water type here so I guess this is a follow up post lol.
So…this is the first time I try to design fakemons and I'm struggling a lot with the fire type- overall I like it but smt feels off?? I feel like it could sell the fire type more with the colors but when I tried other red/orange/yellows they all also looked off…
Some of my friends said it looks like a starter and some said it didn't; either for the personality since usually fire starter are more energetic and happy (I wanted to do the first phase a scared cat so that it would later evolve into a more courageous and fierce guy), or for the colors that are usually brighter…but if I go too bright I'm not managing to fit it with the smoke- and I like the idea of the smoke as fur and legs but if it brings too much black for a first stage starter maybe I could start implementing the smoke in the second stage?? but then what do i do for the first stage?? pus other stuff for the evolution progression imma point out later in the post, so honestly have no idea-
There's also the fact that even if some friends said this wasn't the case, for some reason to me, it looks like it has a tad more details than the other 2 starters or starters in general for that matter.
There's also the fact that hisuian arcanine exists and as much as I love arcanine now I fear it's too similar to him since it's a dog with a smoke fur collar…
This is already a long post so imma just write the general idea for the Pokémon: a Tibetan mastiff which is a protector and has many spiritual connections, the moon(which is one reason as to why the fur collar is like that, later I was planning for the smoke to move around and reveal the moon) AND also the rabbit bc of the "moon rabbit" thing and that rabbits are seen as cowardly; if you need any more info/clarification I can write more in the comments, just ask away and imma do my best to answer in a way that makes sense-
