Oof, shitty. Don’t wanna rain on your kids parades but you should find a way to let them know. Would be shitty if they ripped off some other kid by trading fakes. Or one day in the future they try to sell and a vendors tells them dad gave them fake shit and lied for 20 years
Did the sealed packs have zig zag cut edges? Or flat? A lot of fake packs have the zig zag edges which are an easy tell they are fake as POKEMON doesn’t make any packs other than straight edge ones.

OP, some unsolicited advice: Please let them know they are fake asap. I’ve come across too many posts of people holding onto cards in their collection binder from years past only to be told that they have counterfeit cards which leads to big disappointments. Better that they learn now and grow with education and experience in the hobby which will be better for them in the long run.

Take them to a card shop to verify whether they’re fake or not. Your phone’s AI upscaling is destroying any possibility of knowing for sure. Take a close up of one of the cards like you see on ebay listings so your phone doesn’t try and upscale the picture.
