Just showing off my progression from the last 7 months since I started back collecting.
I assume my story is the same as several thousands of other people. I collected as a kid in 1999-2005. I gave it all away when I was really young because I knew a friend that liked pokemon more than I did. I started a small collection during the lockdown of 2020 by just opening packs. After lockdown I stopped for a long while and even gave most of that collection away. Now I'm back again starting with just what my wife had left of her childhood collection and what was left of the newer stuff we got back in 2020. Our goal with starting back collecting was chasing the Prismatic Eevee SIRs, but uhhhh we got Eevee and kinda haven't made progress on the rest yet lol
7 months ago I didn't understand buying singles.
4 months ago I didn't understand wanting graded cards.
1 months ago I didn't understand keeping boxes sealed.
Clearly, things changed for me in just a few months. How about you? Any long term collectors who have changed how they collect over the years? Any relatively new collectors who have long term goals for their collection?
