here I would like to remind everyone be careful about this Blackred23 player, who hosted the Ho oh battle through poke genie and left right before the battle started, never tried to redo it and wasted the other three players‘ remote pass.
more than 60% of today’s failed Ho oh battles were due to those players who left at the last 1s. And the most toxic ones were these who hosted the raid and left right before the raid started.
Don’t tell me to be mercy, i wasted my money for these trash, so I need to help other players to get rid of these toxic players as much as possible. Thanks.

pokegenie will probably ban him from hosting raids since he’s doing that. just depends if those players reported him when it happened, can understand the frustration it’s wasted money and time when somebody doesn’t want to be a team player to help everyone succeed in getting the ho-oh down.
This just happened to me two times in a row
I hosted on poke genie and my app crashed as soon as the battle started and I had no way to get back in. Maybe this guy had the same unfortunate situation
Had that happen to me so often als well 2 times exactly like that and 3 times we have been to weak and people always used charged attack, as far as i know ho oh would attack rarely if you only attack with quick attacks
Yeah, I’ve literally done 25 raids, caught 18 regular ho oh. But it’s so annoying when people leave. I just joined a raid with 3 lvl 70s and none of them had any counters. Here I am running a full team (I was even able to beat a few raids down a person), and they all show up with random 1st evolution pokes?! Shits not funny
Im trying to understand something. If you complain about hosters that leave just right before the battle starts, and you are afraid of losing your remote pass, why are not you the host? If you are the hoster, you dont need to use a remote pass and you know that you are not going to leave the last minute. I see lots of post like yours everytime a legendary is in dynamax raids, and i just dont get why people is wasting so many remotes and they dont try to host by themselves (ive never joined a remote dynamax, I allways use RaidParty app to host raids. Ive never had a problem, since i can choose which players will be doing the raid with me since i can see their level before inviting them
Frrr and some people just really dont understand max battles. I did like 7 battles and only won 2 of them which one of those to times i didnt even catch ho oh. All bc these people dont understand how it works. Im only lvl 50 and dont have that good of dynamax pokemons but every battle i lost is was the last one standing with 1 or 2 pokemons left while everyone else was dead
I had some asshole do this. Thankfully a previous member invited me back in the group and we got the Ho down, Ohhhhhhhh!!
After attempting to join one and saw everyone leave exactly 2 seconds before it started, I said to myself “yeah it’s going to be one of those days huh”. Didn’t do any of the raids just went ahead and trade one of his ho-oh for my dmax lugia instead
Be careful people will come and tell you that they have no obligation to stay in the raid with you, and that you shouldnt be mad about wasting money on raid passes because “its not guaranteed” youll be called a “childish broski” if you disagree lmao
I lost out on like 5 remote raids because several people did this to me. I dont live in an area that I have people to play with so im forced to use only remote raid passes unless its something I can take by myself. Does Ninactic plan to reinemburst for these shitty behaviors
Don’t remote these with randoms. 4 people battle that isn’t a guarantee win if the other teammates play with wooloos or something else like that just organize these through other means. Raids that go down with 3 players easy are very different from a dynamax legendary.

I h8 to say it, but, when you have billions of players on a GPS tracking device game, we’re gonna come across crappy people – and well, when it comes to money or winning, most people are scummy.😅
Doing end game content with randos is notoriously problematic lol no matter the game.
I qas in with a coworker twice, had the same dude from his friends list pop in and trigger the final countdown(we have 3 accounts in) and then leave last second.
I was trying to help him get a ho-oh since his dynamax pokemon suck. It was pretty much my two accounts doing the damage and could only get him down to about 20%. This asshole just cost us time and I could have had someone in that would have been able to help us.
Another reason I don’t use any 3rd party apps for raids. I piggyback on friends raids or accept invites and if a friend bails on a raid I act accordingly
Here’s a way to get at least one or two or your remote passes back. I made this post a while back specifically to help people like in your situation awhile back. I figured this out bc I got tired of the ai not listening to me and wanting to get a real person. I’ve used this method dozens if not hundreds of times and it’s always worked. Including saying “I was doing a remote max battle and people/person left at the last second making it impossible to win.” They’ve always returned it to me. I think you can only get 1-2 passes returned per day though

My biggest complaint with Dynamax Raids is the auto-ready-up that happens when 4 Trainers have joined the lobby. The timer drops to 15 seconds & that is not enough time to coordinate a team or to leave the lobby while still giving others enough time to do so as well (If Imma leave a regular Raid Lobby, I do it with AT LEAST 20 seconds to spare on the timer). The game should require all Trainers to hit the Ready button to drop the timer, like with Raids.
