Sit down, grab your packs, it’s story time. I’ll start by giving some background. My best friend (we’ll call him Fred) and I are both new to Pokemon card collecting and went in with very limited knowledge. Luckily, Fred’s brother helped us out and taught us a lot including what master sets were. Growing up, I played Pokemon White on the DS and LOVED it to death. With that in mind, Black Bolt was the obvious choice for my master set. Fred on the other hand went with Twilight Masquerade for “the baddies.” If you don’t dislike him yet, you will very soon. Fast forward to a few days ago. Fred decides to mix things up a bit and buys a traumatic delusions booster bundle and two Black Bolt etbs instead of his usual Twilight Masquerade etbs. Deciding to save the etbs for later, he opens up the prismatic packs and guess what he pulls. Yep that’s right, HE PULLS SUNBREON SECOND PACK. At first I was happy for him, but that changed very fast. The next day, he opens the Black Bolt etbs and guess what this twerp pulls. BOTH ZEKROMS (full art + blackout). He then proceeded to say “I bet you’re so mad at me right now bro.” YES. I AM. WHO WOULDN’T BE. YOU PULLED TWO CHASE CARDS I NEED IN ONE DAY AND SUNBREON. The worst part is he plans to sell all of these cards. In summary, Fred needs his luck nerfed IMMEDIATELY and should forfeit his Zekroms to me so I can truly appreciate them 🙂
