I've had this idea for a Pokemon-themed fantasy world concept for a while now. Not really versed in drawing non-humanoid stuff yet so Bisharp and Gallade were a good starting point.
Lore-wise, why are they fighting? I've thought about Gallade being an opposition against a kingdom, Bisharp as knights defending its rulers and kingdom (Kingambit possibility? Who knows?)
I really want to expand on this and try and develop a Pokemon fantasy world (Something akin to Frieren, if y'all have watched that) but also having some elements of Mystery Dungeon, a ragtag group having adventures throughout the world, meeting new Pokemon, and facing bigger foes.
When you hear Pokemon x Fantasy, what comes to y'all's minds? I'd love to hear it!
