I live in a rural area where the houses are pretty spaced out. I have been trying to get some pokestops in our neighborhood, but we dont have sidewalks – so both of my nominations have been shot down for safety concerns. I suggested our neighborhood post boxes and the entry sign for the neighborhood, but both were declined. The whole neighborhood is pretty active and walk/jog/ride around on the roads. Any suggestions or ideas, or am I just out of luck?

Some pokestops that ive seen includes distance markers and trees. But the tree should be iconic enough, like one that is of heritage value or a tree the community uses as a reference point, and or some unique looking signboards. A public bench that people rests on can also work.

You’ll need real objects to tie the wayspots that can turn into pokestops/gyms/powerspots. Look for places intended for leisure.
