Out of curiosity more than anything, I've been witnessing this situation a few times where the wireframe of the map would appear randomly for a second and then disappear again. I've been wondering if this happened to anyone else but I've been lurking around for posts alike with no success. If you don't see it you can download the video and check it yourself! Here I'm playing on my Switch 1 (2021).

That’s just the SV experience, sometimes it happens, other times it doesn’t. Also it’s not much of a matter of which Switch you’re playing on.
Its a shame that looking for shiny Pokemon were a tedious quest in these games. Just walking around was so enjoyble…
