I know this isn’t the typical art medium, but I hope you like it! 🙂 Along with Pokémon being one of my interests, I also collect dolls, and I ended up wanting to create a xurkitree inspired outfit for one!
The cable/ cable tie limbs that xurkitree has translated to a fringe dress, with some ribbon used to mimic the cable tie parts. I’m still not sure what to use to be the tabs, but until i do, the doll is complete.
Because of Xurkitree’s hands being the inside of a cable, copper wire, I painted the hands on the doll copper, and used some copper wire to sort of give a nod to the pokemons hands.
For the feet I just painted some shoes copper. I unfortunately wasn’t quite sure what to do to translate the plug tail, but I think I’m going to try and figure out a plug shaped scarf or wrap for the outfit that looks like a plug.
The doll is a monster high doll, their name is Frankie, I chose that one bc they’re frankenstein inspired (but a but to the left obviously) and they have electricity powers like xurkitree.
I chromed their little prosthetic leg, and made every stitch you see copper.
I also gave them white hair, with metallic silver and copper streaks to again, nod to the colors on xurkitree, and add some interest in the hair, so it wasn’t just all white.
I’m really happy with out it turned out, and I hope you all can enjoy it too. 🙂
